Canal Healthy Neighborhoods was a community led project funded primarily by the Marin Community Foundation aimed at creating a learning process to increase civic engagement and civic participation among Canal community residents in Marin County, California.
Abundantia staff served as the evaluators for this project in 2003, during its third and final year. The evaluation role during this final phase was to synthesize and systematize the results of the intervention into a final product for grantees and funders. The results of the interviews, focus groups, material reviews, and final reports were incorporated into a bilingual Spanish-English web-based tool, known as The Logic Map, to generate web-based, dynamic, and user-friendly access to evaluation results.
